Ralph Coppola

Hello, my name is Ralph Coppola. I’m 67 years old. I’m married with three children and a 3-year-old golden retriever that thinks she runs the house. My hobbies are conversation, pens and bottle stoppers. A little bit about me, there’s not much to tell. I go to the coffee shop in the morning. Have coffee with the guys for a couple hours and then I come home. Play with the golden and then go into the basement and work on my pens. My kids bought me a wood lathe for Christmas and I started making pens. I started this hobby late in life when everybody told me I needed to get a hobby. Pens take about 3 and 1/2 to 4 hours to make and the bottle of stoppers take about 5 hours to make.

I decided to talk to the folks at BACA gallery to see if they would be a fit there and they said yes and I’m very grateful that they had the confidence in me and the pens to put them on display at the gallery. The folks at BACA are very helpful and just nice people all around. Looking forward to many more events with the gallery.
