Ned Farrell is a popular Connecticut-based painter. Originally a traditional landscape artist working in oils, Ned has also developed an innovative gold flake and spray paint technique that he uses to create beautiful, original, and striking pieces of art.
Ned studied with J. Cole Young, the Director of Fine Arts at St. Bonaventure University in Olean, NY. After graduation Ned joined the Peace Corps, where he trained as a beekeeper and was based in Paraguay, South America.
Ned has lived in and continues to travel to many countries, and he incorporates a certain worldview from this into his art. Still, Connecticut remains his home.
