MARIANNE DIETZ

Marianne Dietz hails from Long Island New York.  She and her husband, Bob, came to Connecticut 43 years ago, settled in Madison and raised two children.

Marianne discovered the joy of art during Covid during which she took an art class on Zoom and was introduced to several mediums.  She has applied what she learned to creating original designs, particularly whimsical art meant to bring a smile. Marianne is a member of Madison Art Society and serves on their Board of Directors as the event coordinator. 

For more than 40 years Marianne worked as an Executive Assistant in the business and academic world, most recently at Yale Law School for close to 20 years where she was an Executive Assistant to three Deans.  Previously she served as Executive Assistant to the Headmaster at Choate Rosemary Hall, and a marketing executive for an international mining company. She has studied business at Middlesex Community College and Wesleyan University.
