My painting style and outlook are ever-evolving … often dictated by my subject. As is often the case I do looser paintings plein-air (outdoors) and more rendered pieces working in my studio.
I’ve been painting for over 50 years. After graduating from the Silvermine College of Art and the University of Bridgeport with a BFA degree in Graphic Design I spent the greater part of my adult life working for advertising agencies and graphic design studios as an illustrator and graphic designer. I still do along with teaching painting privately and at various arts locations.
Beyond the total enjoyment I find in my creative process, I prize the many wonderful artist friends I have met along my path of artistic exploration and sharing. Not only are they a wonderful inspirational gift, they provide endless educational stimulus as well.
