I have always loved the look and feel of wood. Grain, swirl, color and shapes intrigue me. WhenI retired from a 40-year family practice, Covid came. This confluence of events led me to the basement to a newly equipped workshop. Since then, I have learned the art of making small furniture, clocks, cutting boards and wall art. This has given me much satisfaction and wonder in the creative process.
I take pleasure in making things that others find beautiful. I have met many wonderful people at various craft shows. This adds to the enjoyment of it all. I have introduced my grandchildren to the fundamentals of woodworking, thus earning me the title of Dr. Pops, woodworker!
