“BACA in Bloom” – Day 1

“BACA In Bloom” is a two-day event bringing together floral designers of the Branford Garden Club and art works of the BACA Gallery artists in a symbiotic partnership. Thirteen designers will be displaying floral arrangements that take their inspiration from 13 selected works of art displayed in the gallery. The theme is to suggest the synergy between art forms, in this case, floral and paintings. The arrangements will be testaments to the emotional impact that a work of art is capable of creating for the viewer.

The Branford Garden Club and BACA have long sought opportunities to create events that reinforce our belief in the beauty that exists in nature and the creative forces that can transform nature into works of art.  This will be a unique opportunity for these art forms to collaborate in order to create a singular artistic experience.

There will be a gala reception on Friday August 11 from five to seven.
