Anita Fraser

Anita Fraser is a local artist from Guilford, Connecticut who hand paints rocks of varying sizes with whimsical designs. Her popular work on display at the BACA Gallery began with single stones and has expanded to include pebble shadow boxes arranged with sea glass, driftwood, shells, porcelain, and of course rocks.

Anita explains, “Rock painting is very therapeutic and creating shadow boxes is like putting a puzzle together-finding the right pieces to tell a story.”
